For Fafa's sustainability is a main part of their culture. Both their food and their restaurants are a proof of that. Their menu is almost entirely vegan/vegetarian and 70% of the electricity used stems from green sources, with an aim to make it 100% soon. An aim Duni of course support all the way as this is a part of our goal Going net zero. Something we hope all our partners want to achieve too.
"Everything we do should be for a better place. This idea also applies to our choice of packaging partner. However, we are no experts on sustainability in this area. We do not have time to research on what material is best or new packaging trends."
No to the cheapest solution
Food packaging is a competitive and global business - with many sales people knocking on physical and digital doors. Pasi explains that they are constantly approached with cheap offers.
"I always say no. A cheaper product doesn't necessarily mean a better choice. We have a great relationship with our dedicated Duni sales person. I trust her and the company to always deliver the best quality and to offer us new and great products. Choosing Duni and BioPak means that we can focus on what we do best: food. Yet, we're always guaranteed to get the absolute best products for our customers and for the environment."
